This edition features inspiring tenant and community spotlights, showcasing the people and organisations that make Norwich Research Park unique. We are also excited to highlight the agent launch of the Hawkmoth Building, with Savills, Carter Jonas, and Anglia Innovation Partnership leading the way. This milestone marks a significant step forward in our development strategy, and the Hawkmoth Building is set to unlock new opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and growth across the campus.

Norwich Research Park welcomes UK science parks and cluster leaders to join the latest Enterprise Showcase event
Anglia Innovation Partnership held its latest Enterprise Showcase event on Thursday 2nd of July at the John Innes Conference Centre. The event was joined by science park managers, cluster managers, areas of innovation and business affiliate members, from UKSPA (UK Science Park Association), as the campus played host to UKSPA’s summer conference and brought local and national stakeholders together over the two days.
Roz Bird, said "We have succeeded in establishing these Enterprise Showcase events as key dates in the calendar for an ever-growing, and diversifying audience of scientists, researchers, clinicians, academics, entrepreneurs, industry partners, occupiers and investors from the Park campus and beyond."
Hawkmoth Building agent launch with Savills, Carter Jonas, and Anglia Innovation Partnership LLP
The Hawkmoth Building represents a significant step forward for Norwich Research Park, strengthening its position as a nationally important centre for agri-food, health, nutrition and the environment.
‘Super Six’ finalists announced for the 2026 Innovation Hothouse Competition
The competition has evolved beyond a traditional pitch format to offer a bespoke three-month programme of support. The competition is aimed at pioneers based at Norwich Research Park who are working on solutions to problems in the global markets we serve: Agri-Food, Health, Nutrition, and the Environment.
Norwich Research Park unveils a newly refreshed website to showcase innovation, community and improve accessibility. This update not only reflects the Park’s modernised brand identity but also offers a more welcoming and improved user experience.
BugBiome secures £500,000 grant to develop new bioinsecticide
BugBiome has secured a 24-month grant from Innovate UK to fund a collaborative project with the John Innes Centre, Harper Adams University and Applied Insect Science, to develop a new biological insecticide to control cabbage stem flea beetles (CSFB) in oilseed rape.
Norwich Research Park Celebrates Community Spirit at Annual Summer BBQ
Over 220 people from across the campus attended and captured the spirit of the summer. Guests enjoyed a wide variety of BBQ food, including burgers, hot dogs, pasta, coleslaw, and a fantastic vegetarian option, all prepared by the on-site caterer, The Genuine Dining Company.
Virilitas raises over £700,000 to accelerate development of its health home testing kit and platform
Virilitas has been awarded a prestigious Innovate UK Biomedical Catalyst grant. The grant totalling £716,000, will enable it to accelerate the final development of its rapid male fertility test and platform, which aims to provide people with a simple method to analyse their sperm health.
Trio of companies enjoying success at Norwich Research Park
Three companies that have markedly different businesses at Norwich Research Park, Agyra, Integral Pharma Solutions, and Korutek are enjoying great success. These three companies demonstrate the diversity of businesses based on the campus. Whilst they operate in different sectors, and are at different stages in their evolution, the common ingredients are that they are ambitious.
Norwich Research Park launches new careers discovery programme for schools following successful pilot
The pilot involved three schools – Ormiston Victory Academy, Reepham High School and Wymondham High Academy and has been designed to raise awareness of the wide range of jobs and careers on the campus, inspire our young and help nurture talent, particularly for those who face barriers, disadvantage or underrepresentation.

Roz Bird, CEO of Anglia Innovation Partnership, delivered a keynote on building innovation ecosystems and fostering research communities to accelerate long-term impact.
