AIP Inaugural Poster Event with BASF, Bayer, Corteva and Syngenta
On September 25th, the AIP team proudly hosted its inaugural Poster Showcase event at Norwich Research Park, featuring key players from BASF, Bayer, Corteva, and Syngenta. This exciting event highlighted innovations and collaborations within the UK’s agri-food sector!
Roz Bird, CEO at AIP, said, “I was delighted to welcome four of the major multinationals, working in the agrifood sector, to take part in strategic discussions with our campus Directors, over lunch, where we discussed the opportunity to start working more closely together in an open innovation system."
Innovative Minds Unite: Celebrating Collaboration at Norwich Research Park!
The recent 'Exploring the Ecosystem' showcase at Norwich Research Park, part of Cambridge Tech Week, brought together around 70 delegates from early-stage companies, investors, and large corporates. Attendees were inspired by presentations from award-winning scientists and engaging pitches from dynamic start-ups like HotHouse Therapeutics and Virilitas.
Unlocking Investment Potential: Norwich Research Park at the Forefront of Innovation
Norwich Research Park is emerging as a key player in driving economic growth and innovation in Norfolk. With nearly a billion pounds in public funding and strong backing from the government and private investors, the Park is fostering a vibrant ecosystem dedicated to advancing agri-biotech, food biotech, industrial biotech, and medtech.
From sustainable dyes to bio-engineered crops, the work being done at Norwich Research Park not only promises to mitigate climate change but also aims to improve food security and revolutionize healthcare practices.
Agri-biotech start-up BugBiome has relocated to Norwich Research Park, focusing on developing innovative bioinsecticides, aiming to offer sustainable solutions for crop protection amidst regulatory changes.
Our second community quiz night of the year took place on Tuesday, September 23rd, and it was another fantastic evening filled with friendly yet fierce competition!
